The story
Back in february 2021 we spoke to some cool guys in west sussex about waste silicone.
It seemed like a long shot but Joe was up for the challenge. A year of making, testing & trialing prototypes
& here it is, the fillicone coaster.
David (the mill man) mixes pigment & 100% scrap compounds (from moulding or extrusion) into sheets.
Maria cuts out the parts on British made mould presses from the 1940s. Ruth trims. Nicola checks & ariel packs them ready to be screen- printed.

How to use
Coast along with a fillicone coaster
Lay down a fillicone coaster wherever a surface needs protection or extra grip. Use beneath a candle, incense burner, cuppa, soap dish, pot plant, fill bottle or a glass of wine.
To clean:
Wash in warm soapy water. dishwasher safe.
