Some things don’t need reinventing. Rose water is one of them. Long before “face mist” became a thing and “clean beauty” became a marketing line, people were using rose water to cool skin, keep their hair fresh, scent their homes and boost their mood.
As with most of what we do and why we do it, we developed our Rose Water Hydrolat because of my own Greek Cypriot Yiayia. Yiayia and Bapou would reach for the bottle out the fridge (always in the fridge; this is the first rule of rose water) and spray it all over, everywhere, all of the time. Nostalgia in a spritz.
Rose water is one of those ancient, everyday beauty staples that has survived every trend cycle because, simply put, it does the job, and it does it well.
A simple flower water made by steam distilling rose petals, used for generations.
Our rose water is made from Rosa damascena, and is 100% pure flower water. No synthetic fragrance, no nonsense, no ingredients list that reads like a chemistry exam. Just a beautifully simple botanical water with a fresh, soft, rosy scent and a surprising number of uses.
Rose water has history. Ancient Egyptians were into it. So were Persians, Greeks and Romans. Cleopatra was a fan. Across different cultures and centuries, it has been used in skincare, bathing, perfumery, rituals, food and medicine. People have been splashing it on their faces and pouring it into baths for a very long time.

Chilled rose water hits different. Cool, refreshing, and satisfying. It’s uncomplicated, useful, and very good to have around when summer rolls in. There are products that work harder in summer and rose water is one of them.
Want to make those summer nights a little easier? This is how: spritz or pat onto clean skin before bed when you want everything to feel a little softer and calmer. No drama. No ten-step routine. Just roses and water, doing what they’ve always done.
