We LOVED walking through London with the wonderful folks from City to Sea (one of our 1% for the Planet charity partners) & some of their pals. We were there to help hand-deliver an important message, in a refillable bottle, to the HQ doorsteps of all the major parties to ask them to #StepUpForReuse.
The open letter urged major parties to commit to the City To Sea Reuse Manifesto, calling for 30% of products in reusable packaging by 2030. Natalie Fée, Founder of City To Sea (and singer songwriter) knows it’s an ambitious target (it’s currently around 1.2%). “We HAVE to shift the focus from recycling to refill and reuse!”
Help power the refill movement. Find a refill store to adore that’s not far from your door. Go there more. We’ll keep bringing the closed-loop returnable single-use-plastic-free household essentials whatever the weather.
