We had a cool request come through to the crew at Fillville HQ the other day. Something new.
“Stand by for a yacht race Fill Refill. We want to take you sailing around the world?”
Roger that. We liked the cut of their jib. So, we clambered aboard, setting sail on the 2025/26 Clipper Round The World Race — the planet’s toughest test of endurance, teamwork and sustainable innovation.
WHAT IS THE CLIPPER RACE?
One of the most exciting ocean challenges around. 10 teams racing across the globe. 11 months at sea. 40,000 nautical miles. Steering a course through calm seas, organised waves, choppy waters, groundswells, violent storms and planetary winds! Open to ordinary landlubbers with no sailing experience.
THE CREW
We’re backing Team Tongyeong (CV23), led by skipper Lou Boorman and first mate Brian Uniacke. Together with their crew of everyday adventurers, they’re raising money for UNICEF, supporting children around the world every single day! So far, they’ve raised £10,739 — and counting. You can support them too. Donate here.
POINTS OF SAIL
Life at sea can be messy. Salt, sweat, spills. To keep the 70ft yacht shipshape & Bristol fashion, we’ve sent the crew a stash of FILL goods:
CLOSE-HAUL IN A CLOSED LOOP
The team wanted responsible cleaning products that work anywhere, even at sea, without plastic waste. We’re making sure we supply close-haul in a closed loop — even offshore. The team members have pledged to bring any empty packaging back with them when they finished each leg!

WHY FILL X CLIPPER?
The Clipper Race pushes folks to the limit, in the face of forces they can’t control. We can get behind that. It’s about making choices, shifting direction, choosing your attitude.
“We can’t control the wind, but we can adjust the sails!”
Together, we can close the loop.
FOLLOW THE JOURNEY
The race set off on Sunday 31 August 2025 and keeps rolling for 11 months across six continents.
